Dunkeld Community Archive houses a growing collection of photographs, documents, research and memorabilia relating to the local area, as well as the regimental archive of the Scottish Horse.聽

For 蓝莓视频 Days there will be two guided walks on Dunkeld's Lost History Sites.

Morning Walk - The Dunkeld of today is very different from what it was like in the Middle Ages. We will visit the sites of the lost places which may only be imagined or viewed on old pictures or maps. 聽We will also identify sources where information can be gathered and learn how we can place the history.

10am - 12 noon

Distance - 1-2 km

Morning Walk Accessibility - this walk will avoid steps and rough ground. It will accommodate adventurous wheelchair users however some of the paths will be stony. Please get in touch for more details.

Afternoon Walk - this adventurous walk will take in some of the surrounding landscape of Dunkeld.

The highly scenic route will visit Sunny Brae, the Old Abattoir, the 鈥淐ave Grotto鈥� at Cave Pass, St Colme鈥檚 Well, King鈥檚 Seat Pictish Fort and Polney Lodge Standing Stone. We will be looking for clues in the landscape that indicated human activities.

1:30pm-4:30pm

Distance: 7km

Accessibility - this walk will include steps, uneven surface, narrow paths and some inclines of 20%. The walking grade will be mostly 鈥淗iking鈥� with some short 鈥淢ountain Hiking鈥� sections. Walking boots are required. There are sections where the path is narrow, cambered and traverses a steep slope. There are two locations where fallen trees need to be negotiated. This involves clambering and bending.
